Christophe Brunnquell was Art Director for cult magazine Purple. Also an awarded resident of Villa Medici (year 2002-2003). He was named creative director of the Luxury section of Le Figaro newspaper from 2006 to 2018. And in 2007, he signed the art direction of the Venice Biennale French Pavillon that hosted Sophie Calle.

Boulevard Haussmann is a series of collages he made during his Figaro years. A selection of 200 works among thousands gathered in a voluntarily sober and enigmatic book. Embossed white hard cover reminiscent of an encyclopedic volume, no introduction nor text, only images all along 400 pages. (from editor)
