Melicka is an artist from Coventry, UK. She changed the custom sneaker space by creating beautiful display art pieces with sneakers.
Her philosophy in the sneaker space comes from combining art with sneakers to create a brand story, bring eyes to the product and create community. Her work has been displayed in galleries across Paris and in streetwear stores.
Ultimately, she believes her work belongs in retail spaces, brands who are bold enough to tell their story through art work without taking away from the base products.
Community has always been highlighted throughout Melicka’s journey through friendships and desire to give back to her community. Melicka’s supporters go by aliens, originating from okki’s planet- a world created by Melicka to allow a space for her and the aliens to tell a story and a welcoming environment for all walks of life.
