As a full-time abstract artist, Valencia Washington merges her life experiences in her work, where she explores the connection between lines, color, shapes and the impression music had on her growing up. Inspired by provocative icons, what starts out as chaotic vision soon becomes a passionate symphony of lines and nontraditional imagery, which allows her to express emotions in the moment without hesitation, creating fluid art that inspires others to dream in color.
